Policy Statement

What is a policy statement?

A policy statement is a written statement, signed by the administrator/founder, current instructor, or participating volunteer declaring and affirming the agencies commitment. The administrative policy statements provide system-wide guidance for procedures and requirements. These policies are based on internal input from data acquired from students, parents, and volunteers. In addition to this, we in all aspects remain true to our purpose of following Qur'aan wa Sunnah, and the righteous predecessors upon the path of Ad-dawatus Salafiyyah.

*Your watchful assessment is encouraged! My the mercy of Allaah, should you find anything on this website while browsing or within our documents or pages, that is in contradiction with the path of ad-dawatus-Salafiyyah. We ask that you present it to us with the evidence so that we can make the necessary correction (s).  With Allaah lies all success. May He continue to guide us and you with all of our families upon the haqq (truth) Allahumma aameen.

For additional information about any policy, rule, or regulation from THM Sadaqa Group also referred to as THM, InHouseGa, THM Teach or FTSOnline please feel free to contact the administrator at "I have a question." Additional categories and policies maybe added, deleted, or amended at the discretion of the Administration inshaAllah.

*within the statements: you may find e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details that may no longer relevant as this information changes over time. So before you use, call, or refer to any identifiers for contacts within the documents, Stop! don't use it. See our current contact information in the sidebars on your right ------->>>>

Room Guidelines - At a Glance!

NO RECORDING IS ALLOWED (NEVER!)

1)   When entering into the Room, Salaams are to be given, upon leaving also give salaams. If one has to leave abruptly or before session is over and needs to communicate with an instuctor, have patience and leave your message. Insha Allah an instructor will respond to your message. If you cannot wait send an IM or an email later inshaallah.

2)   There will be no interuptions during session times unless there is an open discussion with students on the subjects being reviewed. When there are guest speakers or students of knowledge and/or Ulema offering a duroos;  please hold all of your questions and comments until the Oral Reading/presentation/Dars is over.

3) Once the Oral Reading is over we will answer questions and hold discussions. All questions and discussions must pertain to the topics. If you ask a question that cannot be answered by way of the text presentation it will be recorded and forwarded to a student of knowledge, the Ulema, or and Imaam for clarity. We ask that you be patient in this process inshaAllah.

4) Again, In the event that a question arises which the instructor can not answer from the current (Islamic Studies) text, then this question will be taken to someone more knowledgeable for an answer.

5) Only currently paid/enrolled female students are allowed in the rooms, unless otherwise stated (example: a guest was invited). There is a list of all students enrolled and anyone outside these guidelines will be asked to leave, and/or blocked from participation. Students that do not obey these guidelines will have their parents' contacted. If students are found in violation of these rules (letting male visitors listen in) or inviting others to listen with you without informing the instructor; you will be barred from any future classes at THM. This message/rule is your warning.

6) Recording by the participant is not permitted at THM. It violates the trust of each individual student and instructor. Fear Allah and Never record the classes inshaAllah. For those who want to listen to previous lectures, yet following the same guidelines as above then a separate link is provided from other sources inshaAllah. Previous class recordings can be accessed on the participation website. (wiziq)

7) Lewd, vulgar, and disrespectful language/speech is not tolerated at any time. This is not the manners of a good Muslimah. If you feel you have been wronged in any matter please feel free to call the Administration regarding your incident. Your call must be followed up with a written complaint for verification. A meeting will be scheduled to discuss the matter with all parties present. If you fail to appear the matter will be dropped. InshaAllah. May Allah keep us all upon the haqq and from those who seek his face only Aameen.

For this we refer you to Surah An-Nisa: 59 regarding handling disputes.

"O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallaam), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger (sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallaam), if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.

additional rules can be and shall be added to this list at the discretion of the administrator according to situations that arise or as they are needed. It is your responsibility to stay informed about the rules regarding class conduct and other issues. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns feel free to contact us at any time. Also, documents that are old are still in effect even if the contact information has changed, the rule itself still applies.

THM STAFF

*Admin Note: If you are sent a reminder or warning in class, it is wise that you take heed to this warning. Disruptions (calling out while on the mic, interrupting others, constant blogging or chatting) will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave the room for the day. Do Not return until next class (the next day). Barakallahu Feekum.

If you return (for the next class) and your behavior has changed for the better alhamdulillah we will be happy to have you in attendance.  However, if you return and your behavior is still less than desirable you will be removed from the class for an (undetermined period of time - suspension). If your instructor decides to suspend you from all classes at that time, you will need authorization to return. This authorization can only be achieved through Parent/Admin/Student agreement.

For more information about behavior agreements at THM contact the administrator for specific questions and review the documents below. Remember some of the content has changed (i.e. addresses, websites, email information, phone numbers, instructors etc...) but the rule itself still applies.

Alhamdulillah, we have not needed to use the bulk of these rules often!

BPS- Series 13001 (Behavior Policy Statements)

Behavior Policy Statements 1.pdf

1st Warning: The first warning consist of a verbal reminder to the student that is in participation; or to parent because the infraction is serious and requires parental intervention

2nd Warning: The second warning consist of a verbal warning and an email, a call or written correspondence explaining the infraction in detail to parent and student

3rd Warning: The third and last warning is a courtesy only. At this time the student will be booted, suspended or banned from the online conference room or classroom until further action can be taken

Boot Affect Until Next Class: Once the student has been booted, suspended or banned from the room, the parent is expected to contact administration prior to the next class date, to resolve the issue that has been clearly stated and written.

Voice Conference (PTC) Parent/Instructor/Child: The PTC meeting inshaAllah will be beneficial to parent/student and the instructor. This will allow us to work through a goals plan for the student and focus on the child’s strengths instead of the behavior issues that may be present. A PTC can be scheduled anytime during the process

Removal from Program: This option is a last resort for unresolved issues. The parent will be given ample time to reply. If the parent is not in agreement with the decision they can within 7 days contact administration to discuss the matter in detail inshaAllah. The student will remain in academic suspension until the matter is resolved.

Non-Payment: Please read the Behavior Policy Statements 1.pdf for additional details for non-payment status

*It is important for parents and students to understand that non-payment for any class period of time (1 day - 30 days) still requires that you pay your current fees. It does not mean that because you stopped coming that you are not responsible for the cost.

example: The child attended 1 week of classes for 1st semester. Then you as the parent owe the $50 a month fee for that month.
