بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ My first benefit today is from Suratal Abasa, ayaat 10. Where Allah says ' Oh im you are neglectful and divert your attention to another.' Ibn Kathir goes on to explain that this means 'you are too busy'. Here Allah commands his messenger to not single anyone out with the warning. Rather, he should equal want the noble and the weak, the poor and the rich, the master and the slave, then men and the women, the young and the old. Then Allah will guide whomever he chooses to a path that is stright. He has the profound wisdom and the descisive proof. My second benefit today is from Suratal Abasa, ayaat 1, where Allah says ' he frowned and turned away.' Ibn Kathir goes on to say that 'Abu Ya'ala and Ibn Jarir both recorded from Aishah that she said about, 'He frowned and turned away' "This was revealed about Ibn Umm Maktum, the blind man. He came to the messenger of Allah and began saying, ' Guide me ' At the time the Messenger of Allah had a man with him who was one of the great leaders of the idolators. So the Prophet turned away from him (Ibn Umm Maktum) and faced the other man and said, 'Do you think that is is a problem with that I am saying?" the man said "No!" so it was about this that 'He frowned and turned away' was revealed.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim - Benefit #1 : My benefit today is from Surah Abasa, ayat 10 where Allah says ' Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another. ' Ibn Kathir explains this meaning by saying ' You are too busy. Here Allah commands His Messenger to not single anyone out with the warning. Rather, he should equal warn the noble and the weak, the poor and the rich, the master and the slave, the men and the women, the young and the old. Then Allah will guide whomever He chooses to a path that is straight. He has the profound wisdom and the decisive proof. ' My benefit from this is that you're supposed to give da'wah to the rich, the weak, and the poor. If Allah guides them, and they take it then al hamdulillah. If not, then they are lost. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim - Benefit #2 : My benefit today is from Surah Abasa, ayat 8 ' What does it matter to you if he will not become pure. ' Ibn Kathir explains this meaning by saying ' You are not responsible for him if he does not attain purification. ' My benefit from this is that if someone does not become pure, it does not affect you.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim My first benefit for today is from Suratal Abasa ayaat 20 where Allah Subhanna wa ta'ala says 'The he made the path easy for him' Al-Awfi reported from Ibn Abbas, "Then he made his coming out of his mother's belly easy for him." this was also said by Ikrimah, Ad-Dahhak, Abu Salih, Qatadah, As-Suddi, and it was the explanation preferred by Ibn Jarir. My second benefit for today is from Suratal Abasa ayaat 23 where Allah Subhanna wa ta'ala says "Nay, But he has not done what He commanded him." Ibn Kathir goes on to explain that this means, he has not done it (resurrect them) as of yet, until the time period has expired and the extent of the earthly life of humanity is complete, according to the lives of all whom Allah has written it to exist from the time they are brought into existence into the world. Verily, Allah has decreed that existence of mankind, and its duration, therefore, when that is finished with Allah, He resurrects the creatures and repeats their creation just as He initially created them.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim - Benefit #3 ; My benefit today is from Surah Al - Abasa, ayat 17 where Allah says '' Qutila mankind ! How ungrateful he is ! ' Ibn Kathir explains this meaning by saying " Qutila mankind ! " May man be cursed.'' Abu Malik also made a similar statement. He said, " This refers to the rejecting type of man, due to his abundant denial without any supporting argument. Rather he denies simply because he thinks it is farfetched and because he lacks knowledge of it. '' Ibn Jurayj said, ' How ungrateful he is ! " This means none is worse in disbelief than he is. '' Qatadah said ' How ungrateful he is ! " This means none is more cursed than he is. '' Then Allah explains how He created him from something despised and that He is able to bring him back to life just as He created him initially. ' My benefit from this is that the man who rejects the truth, simply because it does not make sense to him or because he does not understand it, is cursed. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim - Benefit #4 ; My benefit today is from Surah Al - Abasa, ayat 20 where Allah says '' Then He made the path easy for him. " Ibn Kathir explains this meaning by saying ' Al-`Awfi reported from Ibn `Abbas, "Then He made his coming out of his mother's belly easy for him.'' This was also said by `Ikrimah, Ad-Dahhak, Abu Salih, Qatadah, As-Suddi, and it was the explanation preferred by Ibn Jarir. ' My benefit from this is that Allah made the path of righteousness easy for us. It is not hard for us to follow, it is a matter of what we want for ourselves.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim - Benefit #5 : My benefit today is from Surah Al-Abasa, ayat 38 where Allah says ' Some faces that Day will be bright. ' Ibn Kathir explains this meaning by saying ' The people will be divided into two parties. There will be faces that are Musfirah, which means bright. ' My benefit from this is that some faces that Day, will be rejoicing and full of joy knowing that they are recieving good news. I would love to be one of those people. May Allah make our faces bright on the Day. Ameen. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim - Benefit #6 : My benefit today is from Surah Al-Abasa, ayat 40 where Allah says ' And other faces that Day will be dust-stained. ' Ibn Kathir explains this meaning by saying ' They will be overcome and covered with Qatarah, which is darkness. ' My benefit from this is that they will be unlike the people recieving good news with bright faces. They will be recieving the worst news, and they will be overcome with nothing but darkness. May Allah protect us, Ameen.
