Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh

Benefit # 1 - The earth is a resting place

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. From the Tafsir of Surah an-Naba I learned that Allah subhanahu wa ta`laa says "Have we not made the earth as a bed." 78:6 Imaam Kathir said that its meaning refers to the earth being "established, firm, and a peaceful resting place that is subvervient to, mankind."

My benefit from this text, is that Allah designed the earth for us so that we would be able to live a peacful existence. Also, that the earth is firmly fixed in its place to prevent any harms to us. This is evident by Allah's next statement which says, "and the Mountains as pegs." 78:7 meaning that the earth is "stable and firm, and suitable for dwelling."

Benefit # 2 - The day of Judgement

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. From the beginning of Surah an-Naba Allah addresses the idolators and their denial about the Day of Judgement saying, " What are they asking about?", About the Great News."

The disbelievers, used to ask questions about the hour, and the day of judgement. Some of them believing and others disbelieving. Imaam Kathir said; that "the Great News is dreadful, horrifying, and overwhelming information."

My benefit from this section (ayaats 1-5) is that as a Muslimah, it is necessary for me to grasp an understanding of the trials, torments, and devestation that will occur on that day, so that I may seek refuge in Allah and be diligent in asking for His forgiveness. Surely, I do not want to be from those whom shall experience its destructiveness, aameen. May Allah grant me and all of you protection from its harms, aameen.

As salaamu alaikum Wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

Benefit# 1 - We were created in pairs.

Bismillahi Rahmanir Rahim. While reading the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir, I leanred that Allah the Almighty said "And we have created you in pairs"78:8. Ibn Kathir said that this means 'he has created male and female, both of them enjoying each other nd by this means procreation is achieved. - My benefit from this , is that Allah ta'aala has created the male and female as an enjoyment for one another, but at the same time it is also a form of procreation. Allah is very merciful to us by this. While we enjoy each other we are also populating the earth masha'Allah.

Benefit #2 - Sleep as a thing for rest.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Allah the Almighty says in the noble Quran "And we have made your sleep as a thing for rest."78"9. Ibn Kathir said that this means ' a cessation of movement in order to obtain rest from the frequent repitition and going about In search of livelihood during the day.' a similar ayaa as been mentioned in Surat Al-Furqan "and we have made the night as a covering" meaning it's shade and darkness covers the people. - My benefit from this is that Allah is merciful to us by giving us the night as a cover and sleep as a form Of rest. After going about in search of livelihood and other things, Allah allows us to get rest by sleeping. Alhamdullilah this a good thing because without sleep we would not be able to function in our everyday lives. This is also a mercy from Allah because our bodies need sleep to funtion. We need rest to gain energy so that our bodies can produce the hormones, adrenaline, and other things that help us during the day.

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh

Benefit #1 : The night is a covering.

From the Tafsir of Surah An - Naba , I learned that Allah says " And We have made the night as a covering. " 78 : 1O. Imam Kathir said that its meaning refers to the night meaning ' its shade and darkness covers the people. ' -

My benefit from this text is that Allah made the night for us to sleep , and stay in our homes. Also , that it is a cover for us meaning that whatever we do in the night is not seen by as many people like during the day.

Benefit #2 : Sleep is for us to rest.

From the Tafsir of Surah An - Naba , I learned that Allah says " And We have made sleep a thing for rest. " 78 : 9. Imam Kathir said that its meaning refers to ' a cessation of movement in order of movement in order to attain rest from the frequent repetition and going about in search of livelihood during the day. ' -

My benefit from this text is that Allah designed sleep in the night as a thing for our bodies to rest. We move around a lot during the day as Allah mentions in the next Ayah ' And We have made the day for livelihood. ' meaning we move and do things so at night we rest.

Benefit #3 - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 16 where Allah ta ' ala says " And we have made the day for liveliehood. " Ibn Kathir explains the meaning for this ayat as :  " We made it radiant , luminous , and shining so that the people would be able to move about in it. " By it they are are able to come and go for their livelihood , earning , business dealings , and other than that as well. Basically , this ayat is reminding me that the day is for all of our activities. It is when we should get everything done , and when Allah designed for us to move around and be lively.

Benefit #4 - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 13 where Allah states ' And We have made therein a shining lamp. ' Ibn Kathir explains the meaning as ' The radiant sun that gives light to all of the world. Its light glows for all of the people of the earth. ' This is a reminder that Allah made the sun for us humans to benefit from. It gives us light , and we need light. It helps everything grow , including us. It is essential for our well - being and health.

As salaamu alaikum

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.

My benefit #1 today from Surah an-Naba ayaats 11-16 came from ayaat 14 we're Allah says "And we have sent down from the Mu'sirat water Thajjaj." I have learned that the Mu'rsirat is a cloud full of rain, but it doesn not bring forth any rain. Allah is truly merciful by giving us another source of water for our livelihood. Masha'Allah

My second benefit is when Allah the almighty says "That we may produce therewtih corn and vegetation, and gardens that are Alfaf." Ibn Kathir said that this means 'so that we may bring out great abundance, goodness, benefit, and blessing through this water."From this, I have learned that Allah is truly and always merciful to his servants/creation. It teaches me to be grateful when I am going through a moment of ungratefulness, mashaAllah

Asalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Benefit #5 - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 17  ,where Allah says "  Verily the Day of Decision is a fixed time " Ibn Kathir explains this meaning as ' The Day of Judgment is at a fixed time , with a set appointment. Its time cannot be added or decreased. No one knows its exact time except Allah. " My benefit from this is that we , as humans dont know the exact time of the Day of Judgment. We only know that it is coming. Only Allah knows , and no one can change the time or add to it

Benefit #6 - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 19 where Allah says " And the heaven shall be opened , and it will become as gates. " Ibn Kathir explains the meaning of this as '  meaning , paths and routes for the descending angels. ' My benefit from this is that the gates of Heaven will be opened so that the angels can descend and go to wherever it is that they are destined to descend upon.

As salaamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

#1 My benefit from reading the Tafsir of Surat An-Naba is where Allah Subhannahu wa Ta'ala says " And the mountains shall be moved away from their places and they will be as if they were a mirage." - ayaat 20. Ibn Kathir (may Allah be pleased with him) has explained that this means that they will appear to the one who looks at them as if they are something but they are actually nothing. After this they will be completely removed. Nothing will be seen of them and there will be neither trace nor base of them.

SubhannaAllah, hearing this makes my skin crawl with fear. My benefir from reading this is that Allah is truly great. He can do anything he pleases. Like removing beautfiul mountains from the face of the Earth, as if they were not there before. He is the kind of all things. He is the protector and the creator. I don't understand how someone still disbelieves after reading this. After I read this it made me want to strive harder to be a better Muslimah.

#2 My benefit from reading the tafsir of An-Naba ayaat 17, where Allah says "Verily the day of Decision is a fixed time." Ibn Kathir goes on to explain that Allah says about the Day of Decision - and it is the Day of Judgement - that it is at a fixed time, with a set appointment, it's time cannot be added to or decreased. No one knows its exact time except Allah. My benefit after reading this ayaat and the explanation for it is that No one but Allah knows when the Day of Judgement will be, so we have to strive to be good Muslims who are upon the Sunnah of the Prohpent Muhammad Salla allahu alaihi was salaam and his companions. May Allah make us of those whom he loves and are on the correct Sunnah of the Prophet and his companions, ameen.

Asalamu Alaikum Benefit #7 - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 24 where Allah says ' Nothing cool shall they taste therein , nor any drink. ' Ibn Kathir explains the meaning of this ayat as saying ' They will not find any coolness in Hell for their hearts , nor any good drink for them to partake of. ' My benefit from this is that whosoever ends up in the Hellfire , there will be no coolness for them. The heat will not die down , and they will not be able to have any drink to cool themselves off with. When we get hot during the day , we're able to drink something cold like water but in the Hellfire , those who are doomed will not be able to do so.

Asalamu Alaikum Benefit #8 - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 30 where Allah says ' So taste you. No increase We shall give you , except in torment. ' Ibn Kathir explains this meaning as saying ' This means tat it will be said to the people of the Hellfire , ''' Taste that which you were in. We will never increase you in anything except torment according to its type ( of sin ) , and something else similar to it. ''' Qatadah reported from Abu Ayyub Al - Azdi , who reported from Abdullah bin Amr that he said ''' Allah did not reveal any ayah against the people of the Hellfire worse than this ayah. ''' Then he said ''' They will continue increasing in torment forever. ''' My benefit from this is that once you're in the Hellfire , you will get no increase of anything except the increase of the torment already laid upon you. Nothing more , nothing less , just the addition of more and more torment.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah. Benefit Number 1 Today from Surah An - Naba ayaats 21 - 30 , I learned that Allah will not allow the inhabitants of the hell fire a cool drink. Fore' he says in ayaat 24 " Nothing cool shall they taste therein nor any drink." 'Ibn Kathir goes on to explain that this means the inhabitants of the hellfire will not find any coolness in hell for their hearts , nor any good drink for them to partake of'. When it is very hot outside or inside of your home , you go in search for a cool drink of water or juice , to cool yourself down. For the people in the hell fire they will not be able to do this. They will suffer because of their evil actions. May Allah protect us all from this , ameen. Benefit Number 2 Today from Surah An - Naba ayaats 21 - 30 , after ayaat 24 Allah says " Except Hamim and Ghassaq." I learned that Hamim is the one who has been made an exception to the coolness and Ghassaq is the one who has the exception to drink. Ibn Kathir goes on to explain that this has also been said by Ar - Rabi bin Anas. In reference to the Hamim , it is the heat that has reached it's maximum temperature and point of boiling. The Ghassaq is gathered from the pus , sweat , tears , and wounds of the people of hellfire. It is unbearably cold with an intolerable stench. May Allah the Most Merciful protect us and save us from that by his beneficence and grace , ameen.

Benefit #9 - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 31 where Allah says ' Verily , for those who have Taqwa , there will be a success. '  Ibn Kathir explains the meaning by saying ' Ibn Abbas and Ad - Dahhak both said "' A place of enjoyable recreation "' Mujahid and Qatadah both said "' They are successful and thus , they are saved from the Hellfire. '" The most obvious meaning here is the statement of Ibn Abbas. My benefit from this is that whoever has piety and does right in this life , will be rewarded Jennah in the Hereafter. Meaning staying away from that which is Haram , you will be rewarded inshaAlllah

Benefit #1O - Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. My benefit today is from Surah An - Naba , ayat 38 where Allah says ' The Day where Ar - Ruh and the angels will stand forth in rows , they will not speak with him except whom Ar - Rahman allows , and he will speak what is right. ' Ibn Kathir explains this meaning by saying ' No one is able to begin addressing Him except by His permission. They shall only speak the truth , and from the truth is the fact that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah. ' My benefit from this is that on the Day of Ressurection , no one will be able to speak except whom Allah gives the permission to. When he does so , no one will be able to lie. You will be only allowed to tell the truth.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

Benefit 9: My benefit today is from Surat An-Naba, ayaat 31 where Allah says " Verily for those who have Taqwa, there will be a success." Ibn Kathir explains Allah's statement by saying "Ibn Abbas and Ad-Dahhak both said, ' a place of enjoyable recreation.' Mujahid and Qatadah both said, ' They are successful and thus, they are saved from the Hellfire.' My benefit from this is that Allah will reward the person who is pious and righteous and does good deeds. If we stand strong on what is correct we will be the winners in the Hereafter insha'Allah.

Benefit 10: My benefit today is from Surat An-Naba, ayaat 35 where Allah says, " Free from any Laghw, and free from sin." Ibn Kathir goes on to explain Allah's statement by saying, ' There will not be any vain, worthless speech therein, nor any sinful lying. Rather, it will be the abode of peace, and everything that is in it will be free of any shortcomings.' My benefit from this is that, There will be nothing of evil in Jennah. Everything will be pure and good. There will be no worrying. Everyone will be at peace. But, this reward is only for the Believe who does righteous good deeds. May Allah make us from among those people who will recieve this great reward, Ameen!
