Quran/Tafsir;Stories of the Prophet Benefit #1

Today we started Stories of the Prophet by Ibn Katheer. The first Prophet we started going over was Nuh which is the arabic name for Noah. In Genesis 5 (the revised edition) the people of the book believe that inbetween the birth of Noah and the death of Adam is 146 years and Noah was created 1056 years after the creation of  Adam.I also learned that Waddan, Suw'an, Yaghutha, Ya'auga and Nasran were the first idols to be worshipped and created by mankind. I also learned that the kufar call the books of Allah the Psalams, the Torah, and the Gospel.
