Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem As Salaamu Alaykumwa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu Rabi al-Awwal 19,1432/February 22,2011 Quran/Tafsir Surah al- Ma'arij
Today I learned that man is very impatient and when we are 'touched' by evil we don't think that there will be any good and any blessing from Allah after it, but when we do recieve good, we act stingy and selfish, withholding the right of what Allah has blessed us with. We should always perform deeds hoping for the reward and fear the punishment of Allah because noone is safe from it and noone can save us from it except Allah ta'ala himself. I also learned the three signs of a hypocrite and that the worst thing that can be in a man is greedy impatience and unrestrained cowardice. I also learned that we should always have tranquility in prayer.
